32 (Plus) Weeks.

August 17, 2009

I took this photo a few days late. Baby continues to be super duper active, especially at night when I am *trying* to sleep. Mom and dad continue to be super duper stumped on names. Really not good considering we don't know the sex and need a girl and a boy's name, not to mention middle names. Help!

  1. I always recommend Nymbler (http://www.nymbler.com/) to anyone stumped for names. Simply put in C-Man and JuJu's names and see what pops up.

  2. You look beautiful. If I had a girl I would have named her Magdalena Maria. I just adore that name. My sons all have old fashioned names, Sam, Teddy and Oliver. so if I were ever to get pregnant again at the ripe old age of 43 I think I would have to go for something completely different like "Rocco" It may horrify some of our family members, but after all I am Italian and Rocco is certainly Italian :) Good Luck

  5. You tend towards the classical, so I think you should make use of G-Ma Grace's name (at least for a middle). I also love some form of Niko/Nikko for either sex, Sienna since you love Italy, and Oliver is quite cosmopolitan (Ollie, Charlie, Juju...awwwww!)

  6. I'm thinking "Theodore Joseph" now for a boy. Charlie, Juju and Teddy. So sweet. And "Beatrix Josephine" for a girl. Charlie, Juju and Bebe. You owe me!

  9. you look amazing! I had the most difficult time coming up with a name for our pups - I can't imagine how challenging it is to name an actual person. perhaps it'll come to you both in the hospital upon arrival . . .

  10. Names are hard. Everyone has such strong associations with names too, so I always found it hard to bounce ideas off of people. But it will come to you.

And you really do look so pretty!

  11. I forgot to tell you what a gorgeous coral top that is and how pretty you look. And I thought of another girl's name (in case you wanted to avoid the initials "BJV"). How about "Corinne Joelle"? You could call her Coco!

  12. You look great!
We also decided to wait until delivery to learn the genders of our kiddos. I was convinced I was having twin boys so we only had boys names picked out. My girls were Baby A & Baby B for 24+ hours as we scrambled to find/decide girls names. Looking at them while deciding helped a lot!
Right now I'm loving Oliver, Eliott, Grace, Louise, Ivy, ...
    Good Luck!

BRONTE...very literary yet pronounceable, plus how rad to be a little American chick with an umlaut in your name??

  21. Honestly, can you look any better? :)

I think you've picked great names for the other two, so I have full faith you'll find something equally fitting.

  23. Fantastic pic. :) I named my daughter Hannah, because I wished it was my name when I was little, and she shares my middle name. I don't know if I'll ever have another baby, but at this moment in time, I like a lot of girl names: Fiona, Brenna, Eva, Claire, Stella.

and boy names: Charles (Charlie), Paul, James, Colby, and Joseph (Joey).

Also, I just recently came across this baby naming site, which looks interesting: http://www.nymbler.com/
